Presently, Southern Arizona does not have the place to honor those 400,000 Veterans and First Responders who answered their country's and community's call with service, bravery and honor. A place for educating future generations about the meaning of service and sacrifice for our country by these brave men and women.
This Memorial is for all of Southern Arizona and will be the only Living Memorial in the region. It will honor the fallen and all men and women who have served and continue to serve our country and communities.
Here in Southern Arizona, we have a population of more than 400,000 (roughly 20%) veterans, active military, and first responders. These men and women, fallen and living, had and continue to have a critical role in both past and present conflicts in America. Despite their sacrifices, these same individuals often have not received the recognition they deserve.

The site will honor the fallen and all men and women who have served and continue to serve our country and communities.
The Memorial is 100% privately funded through the contributions of regional businesses, citizens and organizations.
The Memorial will be a hallowed place honoring those brave, outstanding individuals who have dedicated their lives to ensuring our American values. The Memorial will be unique to Southern Arizona. The Memorial is to provide people with a physical space to remember and learn. The space itself is mindfully designed. As you enter the memorial, you will walk along the Pathway of Heroes. There will be 15-foot walls representing the branches of the Department of Defense: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, the U.S. Public Health Service and First Responders (Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services). All eyes will be drawn to the 24 foot high obelisk at the center of this special place representing the strength and courage of our heroes. Included in the Memorial is a covered amphitheater that will be used for education and a variety of community events. This Living Memorial is being privately funded. Visitation will be free to the public to recognize, honor and remember the living and fallen veterans and first responders.
